Public property is our property

Recently, Train-18 was tested between Agra and Delhi, but stones were thrown on the train by some chaotic elements which are shameful and alarming. It only reflects our backward mentality. Whenever an accident occurs, we start to blame the government. If we look back on the past events, last year, during the first visit of Tejas Express, people used to sabotage with modern equipments like LED in the train. A similar incident took place between Delhi and Baghpat, where the solar panels, batteries and machines etc. were stolen within one month of that were installed on the expense of crores of rupees. We throw garbage every day on the road. We make government properties like station etc. dirty. Such incidents are quite embarrassing. It fades the image of the country internationally. It also shows that there is a lack of basic manners in people. We must understand that this public property is our own property and we have to use it only. Any act of harm in this way is condemnable. Now it’s the time that we observe and think. We talk about development but we do not have the obligation to learn the importance of government properties.

सार्वजनिक संपत्ति हमारी ही संपत्ति है

हाल ही में आगरा और दिल्ली के बीच ट्रेन-18 का परीक्षण किया गया लेकिन कुछ अराजक तत्त्वों द्वारा ट्रेन पर पत्थर फेंका गया जो शर्मनाक तथा चिंताजनक है। यह केवल हमारी पिछड़ी मानसिकता को दर्शाता है। जब भी कोई दुर्घटना घटती है तब हम सरकार को दोष देने लगते हैं। अगर हम पिछली घटनाओं पर ध्यान दें तो पिछली साल तेजस एक्सप्रेस की पहली यात्रा में ही ट्रेन में लगी एलईडी जैसे आधुनिक उपकरणों के साथ लोगों ने तोड़फोड़ की। एक ऐसी ही दूसरी घटना दिल्ली और बागपत के बीच हुई जिसमें करोड़ों रुपये की लागत से बनी एक्सपे्रसवे से एक महीने के अंदर सौर पैनल, बैटरी तथा मशीन आदि की चोरी हो गई। हम रोज ही सड़क पर कूड़ा फेंकते हैं। सरकारी संपत्तियों जैसे स्टेशन आदि को गंदा करते हैं। ऐसी घटनाएं काफी शर्मनाक हैं। यह देश की छवि को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर धूमिल करती है। साथ ही यह दर्शाता है कि लोगों में बुनियादी शिष्टाचार की कमी है। हमें यह समझना चाहिए कि यह सार्वजनिक संपत्ति हमारी अपनी संपत्ति है हमें ही इसका उपयोग करना है। इस तरह से नुकसान पहंुचाने का कोई भी कृत्य निंदनीय है। अब जरूरत है कि हम आत्मावलोकन करें। हम हमेशा विकास की बात तो करते हैं लेकिन क्या हमारा यह दायित्व नहीं बनता कि हम सरकारी संपत्तियों को महत्त्व देना भी सीखें।
