\nIt is difficult to talk of any big rise from the current levels in the market. It may be fair to say, however, that the recent acceleration in all sectors indicates an uptick in the reopening of the economy and a resumption of demand. still,Given the improvement in the markets, we see a very low probability of the markets in India as well as in the global reaching levels of march 2020 again. The reason for this is that due to lockdown and social distancing during the last three-five months, control of corona epidemic has been found in many parts of the world. Since the low levels of March, strong fiscal and monetary strengthening measures have been taken by many governments worldwide. Efforts are being made rapidly in many medical institutes across the world regarding the treatment of Kovid virus. In addition, economies globally are trying to emerge from the pressure of lockdown.<\/p>\n

Are markets underestimating the pressure in the economy?<\/span><\/strong>
\nAlong with the softening of interest rates in recent times, India is likely to get support from better rural scenario and strong agricultural economy. However, given the tight lockdown, weak urban demand is expected to put pressure on the overall economy and it may take four to six quarters to improve. Although markets are not considering FY2021 earnings as more responsible for any pressure, the delay or any disappointment in FY2022 on earnings improvement could pose a downside risk to the market. We have to move cautiously.<\/p>\n
