Economic activity is sluggish (at 40\u201350 per cent before Covid) and there is a debt flow on the same lines. But the emergency credit facility is increasing debt. No one knows the level of pressure, how long the installment will be deferred and how the new regulatory structure will be. Pressure will depend on how you deal with it. IBS has sought permission for a lump sum solution. Pressure may be reduced in some areas. But the bad phase will not end foreer.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Are you in favor of further debt deferment?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Postponing the installment is temporary work and the outstanding installments of 6 months will accumulate. It also has a limit. You cannot continue postponing the installment, otherwise this amount will be so large that it will be difficult to recover it according to the short duration. The payment of the existing loan installments can be rescheduled due to the postponement of the six-month installment, but if it is further deferred, its management will become difficult.<\/p>\n<p>Now look at the postponement. Only 15 percent of large corporates opted for this and 85 percent tried to avoid this route. Only 20\u201330 percent chose this option in retail. Only 30 percent of the account holders in each sector have opted for this option.
