His statement came at a time when the government has decided to reduce its stake in some public sector banks.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In his address at the Memorial Lecture organized by South India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he said that there has been a lot of development in the banking system and all private sector banks have come, PSUs have been integrated and work is going on in this direction. He said that privatization of some public sector banks would not cause any harm to the banking sector or the economy. He said, &#8220;We are seeing a scenario where there will be SBI and there will be at least 6 big banks.
