Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to prove themselves and produce products matching to international quality.<\/p>\n

Government has taken various steps to protect the domestic industry after Covid-19. Several policies had been worked out to break the slowdown in the business by finance ministry. Certainly it helped to recover from the turmoil. Now it is the turn of industrialist to make our product of international standard. If we can do it, it will be a vital asset to the nation. It is very natural that quality is deteriorated when there is no competition from abroad, because customer has no choice but to purchase the indigenous products available in the market. And it leads for imports legally or otherwise.<\/p>\n

Various political and economic reforms have been taken in the second term of Narendra Modi. Additional Taxes have been levied on imports to protect national businesses. P L I and labour law reforms are among them. To save domestic businesses from international competition, India stayed away from Regional comprehensive economic partnership last year.<\/p>\n

This is not just a myth that, whenever competition is absent, quality deteriorates, as the customer has no choice. Normally, industrialist should provide better quality, in the situation. Because they get an extra chances of exposure to export along with the home market. But the dark side is that in absence of competition, the gap between demand and supply increases. Prices are subject to increase due to monopoly, without any guarantee of quality. Naturally impacting the fairness.<\/p>\n

Plywood and panel, manufactured in India, is sold solely in domestic market. We have not been able to export till now. We couldn’t comply with the international standard .e.g. Low formaldehyde emission. Plywood industry is not agressive properly and consistently in research and development of the products, to grab the opportunity to export.<\/strong><\/p>\n
