\nMarket share of MDF is very small as compared to total panel market. Total capacity at present comes to near about seven to eight thousand cubic meter. Where big brands share is approx four to five thousand cubic meters. It comes to a meager four-five percent of total market of panel products. That’s why even a smallest (say one percent), diversion of demand shifts from plywood, it is highlighted. Rising demand of MDF is perhaps an indication that plywood customers are slightly shifting.<\/p>\n

Still you are considering your MDF market below 10 percent?<\/strong><\/span>
\nProduction of 250-300 trucks cannot be considered as huge. An individual plywood unit can produce two-three truck daily, than only Yamunanagar is delivering more than two hundred trucks per day, and it comes to more than 1500 truck pan India.<\/p>\n

Although overall market demand of MDF is increasing on a regular basis. We are now capable to run our plant utilizing our full capacity. Whereas, we were compelled to take breakdown for at least three-seven days in a month, just year before more over. Now we are preferring higher thickness in our orders.<\/p>\n

Future of MDF?<\/strong><\/span>
\nVery small manual involvement in MDF production will always put it in upperhand. We believe a regular growth in MDF market will be seen in forth coming years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raw material availability?<\/span><\/strong>
\nShortage of containers is one of the factor why import has gone costlier. Skilled workers are also short supplied after covid. Overall cost of raw material has increased upto 25-30 percent. It had compelled us to revise our rates twice recently.
\nSo the new price list is implemented?
\nStill we are in loss. Two to three months advance booking is the market trend in mdf sector. We are delivering in old prices whereas we have to purchase our raw materials in current increased prices.<\/p>\n

What is the limit of fire retardant MDF?<\/span><\/strong>
\nOur fire retardant product is a unique product by Action Tesa. It is going to be mandatory in Govt purchases. It was a most awaited product in recent years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do general market will go for it?<\/strong><\/span>
\nNormally, consumers are dependant upon local carpenters who are not much aware of the product features. That’s why at present only govt sector is the main buyer of the product.<\/p>\n

Do all our products are moisture resistant?<\/span><\/strong>
\nWhenever furniture are constructed attaching walls, panel is vulnerable to the defects of walls including moisture. Air gap must be kept between wall and MDF to avoid direct contact with walls. We always inform and advice our customers to the fact.<\/strong><\/p>\n
