Because every trader and industrialist is facing problems due to the increase in the price of fuel. The cost of transport has increased rapidly. Due to this, the plywood industry, life line of Yamunanagar , by employing more than 2.5 lakh people in Yamunanagar district, is in doldrums.<\/p>\n<p>Yamunanagar is in big trouble today. After increase in transport prices, big buyers of plywood, traders from other states have now turned to Uttar Pradesh. Due to this it has become difficult for the traders of Yamunanagar to sell their goods. Every third person of the city is associated with plywood industry in some way or the other having his employment from the industry. In this situation, if the government does not provide relief to the industry soon, then there may be a big problem for the plywood traders affecting employment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The plywood industry suffered many fold due to the increase in oil prices. Due to the increase in the rate of transport by 30 percent, has become difficult to sell its goods by the plywood industries. We have to pay extra 40% freight for carrying raw material from adjoining states. The distance of Gujarat and other states from the border of UP Bihar is less, due to which there is difference in fare. if fuel is put in in GST, then the freight will be at per, said that Devendra Chawla, president of All India Plywood Manufacturing Association<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chawla said there is a solution to this problem and that is to bring oil under the ambit of GST. If the government cannot reduce the price of oil, then at least it can do this. This may reduce some of the problems of the industrialists.<\/p>\n<p>He said that if timely attention is not paid upon the situation, plywood industry is going to face difficulties because the whole system will be messed up.
