Giving an overview of a slew of reforms, he said the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, or RERA, has greatly helped transform the image of the industry. With RERA slated for implementation in West Bengal after a two-month delay, the new realty law is now applicable across the country. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He further stated that the Model Tenancy Act, recently introduced by the government, will make rent laws more equitable and help unlock a large number of housing units.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color:
