Meeting was presided By Naresh Tiwari with presence of manufactures from whole Punjab.<\/p>\n<p>Ashok Juneja, Chairman, PPMA, explained that, \u201cour input cost has soared many times, with the increase in the rates of poplar, eucalyptus chemicals and electricity despite the fact \u2018that\u2019 all other states have already declared the increase, we were hopeful of market to settle down. Being dismayed by the market reactions, we are forced to increase the rates by 5% in every segment of plywood with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>Inderjeet singh Sohal president, PPMA, told that, Due to sharp increase in raw material cost, we have no choice left, but to increase the rates. Still, increase of 5% is very nominal, whereas actual increase is about 20% in overall raw material cost.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]\n\t<div class=\"wpb_raw_code wpb_raw_html
