With crude oil prices hitting a seven-year high in the international market, petroleum prices are likely to see a &#8216;significant&#8217; hike in the coming days.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prices are set to rise after the international standard Brent crude oil reaches $ 82.37 per barrel. The price of crude oil rose because OPEC, a group of oil producing countries, decided to limit production to no more than 400,000 barrels per day.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to petroleum industry sources, there may be a &#8220;significant&#8221; increase in prices to bridge the cost and sales gap.<\/p>\n<p>Sources also say that the oil companies have kept the increase very low so far due to the expectation of reduction in crude oil prices.
