On 16\u092b\u093f\u0932\u0939\u093e\u0932<\/sup> May, Chief Minister Manohar Lal addressed the plywood manufacturers at the Haryana Plywood Conclave organized at Swarna Jayanti Hall of Yamunanagar and made several announcements:<\/p>\n

  • Equivalent to two percent mandi fee will be returned to the industrialist who exports the goods of his factory.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • For the new plywood industry to be set up in Haryana, the government will give Rs 48,000, per year per employee, to the industrialist for seven years on providing employment to the people of the state.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Subsidy up to 150 percent of the total GST will be given for 10 years for setting up a new plywood industry.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • One percent subsidy will be given for exports from the industry, subject to a maximum amount of Rs.10 lakh.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Forest Research institute\u00a0 will be set up at Yamunanagar at a cost of Rs 50 crore.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Bamboo pulp can be brought from Assam, which will be helpful in the requirement of raw material in the panel industry.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Common Facility Center and Quality Testing Center will be established in Yamunanagar.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Chief Minister Manohar Lal said, that, his aim is to save foreign exchange by promoting exports. For this the plywood industry of Haryana will have to be recognized in the world as it is in India. He appreciated that Yamunanagar is the largest plywood cluster of North India.<\/p>\n

    Last year Haryana produced plywood worth Rs 8,000 crore, but out of that only Rs 95 crore was exported, which is very tiny. The Indian plywood sector is expected to grow at 5.5 per cent by 2026, he added.<\/p>\n

    If the states work together with each other, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, will be reality, he added in the presence of Assam Industries Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, who was also especially present in the program.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t
