India has a power generation capacity of 395.6 GW. 80-90 per cent of the total electricity generated in the country is coal based. The demand for electricity increased but due to shortage of coal in the power generation plants, the production is not meeting the demand. Meanwhile there is a range of wagons (train coaches) supplying coal to the coal production centers. Due to which the supply of coal is getting weaker than the demand. Local, decentralized continuous decentralized power generation is critical to ameliorating the current power crisis situation.<\/p>\n

Abuse must stop<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

The ever-increasing utility of electricity has created a power crisis. The government should distribute solar energy equipment at very low prices so that its utility can be increased. The misuse of non-essential electricity should be stopped, if the individual level also follows discipline in the use of electricity, then 20-25 percent electricity can be saved in the homes. Every citizen should make little sacrifice to save electricity. Scientists will have to find other sources of energy that can save from the power crisis.<\/p>\n

Large scale domestic consumption of solar energy can also solve the problem of electricity. Solar plants in societies and community colonies can solve the challenging problem of electricity by making panels mandatory.<\/p>\n

\n

Electricity price should be commensurate with the cost<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

The first step to avoid the power crisis would be to reduce the consumption of energy in the country. If the government gives subsidy to install electric efficient motors, then the energy consumption in the country will be less. Second, the government will have to make monthly changes in electricity prices, just as oil prices are being changed daily. With this, the electricity board will be able to provide electricity to the consumer according to the purchase price.<\/strong><\/p>\n
