The increasing demand for Indian goods in the world is a reality and it is confirmed by the recent achievement of export target of 400 billion dollars. Undoubtedly, this is a sign of India’s growing potential, but it still needs to be increased further. To fulfill this need, there has been talk of promoting local products under the Vocal for Local campaign for a long time. This should be done to make the country self-reliant,<\/p>\n

It is the need of the hour that we the people of India should give priority to the purchase of indigenous products, but at the same time it is also to be seen that how our entrepreneurs should be able to increase the quality level of their products? This capability can increase only when an effective campaign is launched at the government level to make the quality of indigenous products world class and research and research is given priority under it.<\/strong> <\/span>In this sequence, the government will have to specially help the small and medium industries generating employment opportunities. Only by doing this, schemes like One District One Product and Make in India can be made successful. To make such schemes successful, the central government will have to be active as much as the state governments. It is high time that such research and research centers should be established at the state level, whose sole objective is to improve the quality of local products, they cannot make a place in the world market. At a time when all the countries of the world want to reduce their dependence on Chinese products, then this situation is an opportunity for India.<\/strong><\/span> Some steps have been taken to capitalize on this opportunity, but the expected results are not yet visible and that is why India is not able to convert itself into an export based economy.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, inflationary pressures intensified, owing to elevated global commodity prices due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Input prices increased at the fastest pace in five months, while output charge inflation hit a 12- month high.<\/p>\n
