It further stated that wood is an approved fuel limitedly for religious purposes and use in crematoria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It sensed some confusion among the stokeholders because direction No. 105 dated 03.08.22 clearly stated that <strong><em>In specific reference to<\/em><\/strong><em> <strong>plywood manufacturing units located in the NCR, beyond jurisdiction of NCT of Delhi, wood processing wastes such as wooden chips\/waste wood\/saw dust etc. generated during the manufacturing process may also accordingly be considered and permitted to be used under the broader category of \u201cbiomass fuel\u201d.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Vikas Khanna, President, DNPMAI (Delhi NCR Plywood manufacturers association of India) met the authorities, who further clarified that plywood industry is allowed to use biomass fuels, As per direction No. 105 dated 03.08.2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, as per direction No. 105 dated 03-08-2022 and (Point No. 6 of) 402 dt. 16.11.22. Every Wood Based Industry, eligible in the category, should apply for amendment in CTO (consent to operate) to their respective state pollution board.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color:
