Projects marketed, advertised, and sold without necessary approvals of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and yet to be completed are among those requiring registration with West Bengal RERA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The state regulatory chapter began work about 18 months after the Supreme Court struck down the state&#8217;s own legislation, the West Bengal Housing Industry Regulation Act, 2017 (WBHIRA). Last February, the SC had directed the state to implement RERA immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><strong>\u201cAll the projects in the state that were marketed so far without permission and are yet to be completed will have to get registered within three months of the formation of the RERA authority in the state as per the rules.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>WBRera, told In August, homebuyers organized under the banner of the Forum for people&#8217;s Collective Efforts (FPCE) had written to the chief minister to intervene and issue necessary directions to operationalize RERA and Real Estate Appellate Tribunal under the central Act. It had raised concerns about unregistered launches, collection of excess funds and &#8216;diversion.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color:
