Retailers from Chennai such as Vivex, Jiriaj, Satya and Vasant recently wrote a letter asking for durable goods companies to restrain price gap. A source from the industry said that since then, similar demands from the retail companies located in other parts of the country can arise.These include Mumbai&#8217;s Kohinoor and Snehangali, sales points from Ahmedabad, Great Eastern of Kolkata and retailers like Delhi&#8217;s Sargam.<\/p>\n<p>These retail chain traders could not get immediate feedback about this. But it is clear that due to the success of the shopping festivals organized by e-tellers during the Dussehra-Diwali season this year, there is a wave of dissatisfaction in offline retailers, as this period is in line with the business for the retail industry in the country. Important time is considered. During October-November, Amazon had organized an online sale of three rounds, while Flipkart organized it twice, offering huge discounts to mobile phones, televisions and other products.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4476 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/plyinsight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Regional-Retailer1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"221\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mumbai&#8217;s top retailer, on condition of anonymity, said, \u201cOver the years, we are seeing that the entire mobile business has become online. Now televisions and big tools are being sold online and the worst thing is that during the October-November, several rounds of online sell was organized during this year. Due to this online activity, fewer customers come to their stores. &#8216;Last month, a report by Red Sea said that the number of online buyers during the festive season increased 71 percent to 2.4 million this year compared to last year. In the festive season this year, the share of mobile phones and electronic products in the total goods sold was 80%, which gave the worry of the offline vendors as a natural boost.<\/p>\n<p>Godrej Appliances Business Head and Executive Vice President and President of Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers&#8217; Association (CEAMA) Kamal Nandi said, \u201cThese series have not given any written complaint to the CEAMA. Instead, he has written a different letter to one company. If they come to us, then we can consider raising this issue to the government. We can demand a policy from the government about this. \u201cCompanies privately believe that they tell e-tellers to keep their prices in pricing, but after a limit it becomes difficult for them to be monitored. The top employee of an electronics company in Delhi said, \u201cIt is not an option for the manufacturers to boycott the online channel. They are an important distribution medium.
