All Bharat Plywood and Laminate Traders Association Committee formed

Yogesh Bang, from Nagpur, has been assigned the responsibility of the first president in the committee of All Bharat Plywood and Laminate Traders Association.
The committee of All Bharat Plywood Laminate Traders Association was formed in the ACETECH Expo held in Mumbai. Mr. Piyush of ACETECH welcomed everyone warmly.
Gopal Ji Pachisia of Mumbai, who is known as the “father of plywood industry”, was honoured by the Assoc. members. Gopal Ji Pachisia said that we have to unite and make a strategy to overcome the problems of the industry and deal with the challenges.
On this occasion, G.S. Lakhotia, Surendra Kothari, Gautam Jain from Mumbai, Yogesh Bang from Nagpur, Narendra Bafna from Indore, Chetan Patel from Bhopal expressed their views. The speakers said that for a long time we needed such an organization, which could work as a connecting link between all the traders across the country.
Everyone discussed and finally formed a committee in the meeting. In which the responsibility of Deputy President has been assigned to Chetan Patel of Bhopal, and the responsibility of Vice President has been assigned to Narendra Bafna of Indore and Chintan Sheth of Ahmedabad. The post of Secretary has been assigned to Danish Bhatia of Mumbai. Joint Secretary and PRO has been assigned to Alok Mohta of Bangalore. Other members of the committee include Gautam Jain of Mumbai, Ashish Gupta from Jaipur, Sanjay Patil from Kolhapur, Kamlesh Singhvi from Chittargarh.
Committee’s Joint Secretary and PRO Alok Mohta said that this committee will lead the All Bharat Plywood and Laminate Traders Association with the support and guidance of all the members. He said that the association will work towards solving the problems faced by plywood and laminate traders across the country. He expressed heartfelt thanks to young and enthusiastic members Kamlesh and Manoj and Ashish of Thane for their voluntary contribution. He expressed gratitude to the ACETECH team for the organization.
Further, the list of All India Associations should be finalized. Currently 47 associations are included already. The plan is to include additional associations from every state, so that the participation of the pan India can be achieved. All the remaining areas will be contacted to amalgamate them. So that the organization gets strengthened.
Mr. Alok will prepare a list with the help of his colleagues Mr. Bafna and Mr. Patel. As soon as it is ready, the associations will be divided among the members of the working committee. In which each member will coordinate with about 10 associations. A WhatsApp group will be created to give information about daily activities. For this, the name of two members will be finalized very soon. Two members from each association will be included in this WhatsApp group.
No individual membership will be allowed; ABPLTA is an association-based organization. The final decision on annual contribution will be taken after finalizing the list of associations. Five working committees will be distributed among the members for the daily functioning of the association. Each member will look after about 10 associations.
It was also decided to plan a working committee meeting for two days, physically. This working committee meeting (only for committee members) will be planned soon in Nagpur or Bhopal. The topic of upcoming discussions, dates etc. will be decided. The following decisions were also taken:
- Indiawood Exhibition: Mr. Danish will coordinate with the Indiawood team for securing a stall for them in their next exhibition.
- Metasia Exhibition: Mr. Yogesh and Mr. Bafna will prepare an action plan to secure a stall in the Metasia Exhibition.
- Expansion of the Working Committee: To take the association forward, such members will be identified who can spare time for this. It was also decided that a zoom meeting should be held every week. So that discussion can be done towards strengthening the association.
After the formation of the working committee, showing activism, the working committee organized a zoom meeting, in which the name and registered office of the association was finalized.
After extensive discussions, it was agreed to retain the name of the association as All Bharat Plywood Laminate Trade Association (ABPLTA). It was also decided that the registered
office for registration and branding of the association’s name would be administered at Yogesh Bang’s office in Nagpur.
Yogesh Bang will complete the registration formalities with the help of an expert team (eg, CA and experts in this matter). It was also decided that the registered office of ABPLTA will be located in Nagpur under the supervision of Yogesh Bang.
