Gujarat, Haryana and Karnataka Lag Behind in Business Ranking

The ranking of states considered to be business-friendly Gujarat, Haryana and Karnataka has come down significantly in the Business Accessibility Survey conducted for the year 2019. 36 states and union territories have been included in this survey.  

Officials and experts attributed the decline in the status of these states to the lack of response from the industries as well as political instability in Karnataka.

According to industry experts, there are many reasons in Gujarat and Haryana that the state’s position in the business improvement rankings is continuously declining. It also includes competition from other states.

कारोबारी लिहाज से अनुकूल माने जाने वाले राज्यों गुजरात, हरियाणा और कर्नाटक की रैंकिंग वर्ष 2019 के लिए कराए गए कारोबारी सुगमता सर्वेक्षण में काफी नीचे आ गई है। इस सर्वेक्षण में 36 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को शामिल किया गया है।

अधिकारियों और विशेषज्ञों ने इन राज्यों की स्थिति में गिरावट आने की वजह उद्योगों की ओर से प्रतिक्रिया में कमी आने के साथ-साथ कर्नाटक में राजनीतिक अस्थिरता को बताया है।  

उद्योग के विशेषज्ञों के मुताबिक गुजरात और हरियाणा में ऐसे कई कारण मौजूद हैं जिनसे कारोबारी सुधार रैंकिंग में राज्य की स्थिति लगातार घट रही है। इसमें दूसरे राज्यों से मिलने वाली प्रतिस्पर्धा भी शामिल है।
