Next 25 years ‘Amrit Kaal’ : Modi

Describing India as a ‘world friend’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it has become a new ray of hope for the entire world and the world community considers India as an important pillar of stability, reliable friend and engine of growth in the global economy.

Inaugurating the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 in Ahmedabad, the Prime Minister said that India has recently completed 75 years of independence and is now working towards the goal of becoming a developed country within the next 25 years. In front of top industrialists from India and abroad, top executives of companies and the UAE delegation, he said, ‘Our aim is to make India a developed country by the time it completes 100 years of independence. Therefore, this time of 25 years is the ‘Amrit Kaal’ of India.

Modi said that all major rating agencies believe that India will be among the three largest economies of the world in the next few years. He said that amidst the rapid changes taking place in the world, India is playing the role of a world friend. India has shown hope to the world that common goals can be set and achieved. India’s commitment, dedication, efforts and tireless hard work for the welfare of the world are making the world more secure and prosperous.

He said that India’s priority is to create sustainable industries, infrastructure and manufacturing, new age skills, future technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and innovation, green hydrogen, renewable energy, semiconductors and their entire system.
