There are some doubts about the market samples drawn by prove the BIS. We expect that a photo should be clicked, while drawing a market sample and it should be sent to the manufacturer. This will drawn by prove that the collected sample taken is our product. Because many a times, it happens that the sellers copy our brand and sell fake goods. Now if the market sample of this so-called product is taken by BIS and in case the sample fails, then the responsibility fall on us. Whereas it may not be our fault at all.

Therefore there seems to be only two options. First, the photo of the samples taken should be uploaded. If this is not possible then two samples should be drawn. So that one sample goes to the laboratory, the other sample is kept safe with BIS. So that in case of any dispute, a definite decision can be reached on the basis of this sample.

BIS have agreed to share the information whatever required from where the sample was drawn? But this is an incomplete and doubtful process. We ought to be satisfied that the sample taken was manufactured by us or not.

We are constantly conveying our views to the officials regarding whatever issue are coming up. Right now BIS does not have much workload. There are only one thousand BIS certificates. It is assumed that it will take time to rectify the rules and regulations.

Pressure is being exerted on the current BIS license holders to follow the rules, even if they are impractical. We urge the government and the officials to make the rules realistic and practical so that the industry can contribute smoothly to the country’s economy even in these difficult market conditions. Also, new industrialists can also join this system easily, without any fear in the interest of the country.

However, the government is taking more stringent measures on foreign producers in QCO. These steps are being taken especially to stop imports from China and Vietnam.
