There is already over production in plywood and panel industries agroforestry is the final answer to save our forests with equally benefitting the Industry. वेबीनार में राकेश खुराना ने कहा कि लाइसेंस ज्यादा जारी होने की वजह से इंडस्ट्री में मशरूमिंग हो रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि अब वक्त आ गया एग्रोफोरेस्ट को बढ़ावा दिया जाए इससे मैं सिर्फ हमारा फॉरेस्ट संरक्षित होंगे बल्कि इंडस्ट्री को भी लाभ होगा। उन्होंने यह भी कहा एग्रोफोरेस्ट्री से किसानों को भी आर्थिक मजबूती मिलेगी, क्योंकि अब वक्त आ गया किसान गेहूं धान का फसल चक्र छोड़कर वैकल्पिक फसलों की ओर ध्यान दें। लेकिन इसके लिए किसान तक जाना होगा ।

ऐसी पॉलिसी लानी होंगी कि किसानों से लगातार बातचीत की जाए। उन्हें उनकी लकड़ी के उचित दाम मिल सके, इसके लिए व्यवस्था करनी होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि इंडस्ट्री को लाइसेंस फ्री थोड़ा वक्त से पहले कर दिया है। क्योंकि अभी लकड़ी की कमी है। यदि उचित मात्रा में लकड़ी उपलब्ध हो तो इंडस्ट्री को लाइसेंस मुक्त करने में दिक्कत नहीं है।

उन्होंने कहा कि कॉविड के बाद यू बी इंडस्ट्री में काफी दिक्कत आ रही है।
