An official release by ILMA on 11th march, says, that all the members are facing heat due to steep rates increase in all major raw materials, like PHENOL, KRAFT PAPER, BASE PAPER, MELAMINE, FORMALINE, METHANOL, BOPP, etc. The cost has an impact of 40-80 percent compared to a few months back.

Beside raw material the transportation and shipping cost has been high on unprecedented level.

As the world is coming out of pandemic there is a very strong global demand has created, therefore, there is no chance of coming down the rates, nearby.

The members of ILMA has analyzed the impact upon the cost, shown in the chart.
