The government neither took anything from nor gave any incentive to the industry. We can be happy with one announcement that the government has made a provision of Rs 7.50 lakh crore for capital expenditure in the budget, which will strengthen the weak infrastructure of the country. The plywood and panel industry will also benefit from this amount, when some part of the expenditure on infrastructure and housing will go to the real estate sector and housing project.

However, the ply industry is still in crisis and has not recovered from the tremors of covid. Rising raw material prices and lack of demand in the market is paining at the moment. Industrialists are disappointed due to lack of any incentives in the budget.

सरकार ने उद्योग से न कुछ लिया न ही कोई प्रोत्साहन दिया। हम एक बात से खुश हो सकते हैं कि सरकार ने बजट में 7.50 लाख करोड़ रुपये का पूंजीगत व्यय का प्रावधान किया है, जिससे देश के कमजोर बुनियादी ढांचा मजबुत होगा। इस रकम से Infrastructure और Housing पर जो खर्च होगा, उसका कुछ हिस्सा Real Estate Sector और Housing Project पर जाने से Plywood और Panel उद्योग भी लाभान्वित होगा।

हालांकि प्लाइ उद्योग अभी संकट के दौर से गुजर रहा है और कोविड के झटकों से उबर नहीं पाया है। कच्चे माल की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी और बाजार में मांग का न बढ़ना फिलहाल इसकी त्रासदी है। बजट में प्रोत्साहन नहीं मिल पाने से उद्योगपति कुछ निराश जरूर हैं।
