Industrialists excited about international container depot in yamunanagar

The officials of the Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Chamber of Commerce and Industry, have conducted a survey of the district, along with the adjoining  border districts, at their level. In which it has been found that the international traffic of more than 1600 containers is from Yamunanagar Jagadhri alone. Traders have to run Ludhiana and Sonipat for lifting of import export Containers.

Saharanpur : 50/1000 containers

Meerut : 100/150 containers

Business is done through the countries like Dubai, Saudi Arabia and in all African countries for Engineering products and plywood other than utensils, Plywood traders imports veneer and import/export is done for  plywood and other engineering goods like machineries from Germany/Italy/USA/China/Vietnam/Philippines/Myanmar/Laos Nigeria/ Gaban/ South Africa/ Somalia/ Ethiopia/ Tanzania/ Kenya.

According to the Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DFCC), an office will be built near the Dedicated Fred Corridor Corporation Jagadhri Workshop. This line is within 60 km area In Haryana Yamunanagar and Ambala district. A demand has been made to make DFCC a station in the Jagadhri workshop. Only goods trains will have traffic on this line. This line of East Corridor will run from Amritsar to Kolkata. The establishment of an International Container Depot or Private Fred Terminal here will benefit the traders of the district as well as the surrounding area. The goods will reach the traders easily saving precious time and money.

यमुनानगर-जगाधरी चेंबर आफ कामर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री के पदाधिकारियों ने अपने स्तर पर जिले के अलावा सीमा से सटे जिलों का सर्वे कराया है। जिसमें पता चला है कि अकेले 1600 से ज्यादा कंटेनर का अंतरराष्ट्रीय ट्रैफिक यमुनानगर जगाधरी से हैं। व्यापारियों को आयात निर्यात के लिए पंजाब के लुधियाना व सोनीपत तक दौड़ लगानी पड़ती है।

दुबई, सऊदी अरब एवं सभी अफ्रीकी देशों में बर्तनो के अलावा इंजीनियरिंग उत्पाद का निर्यात होता है। जर्मनी/इटली/ यूएसए चीन/ वियतनाम/फिलीपींस/म्यांमार/लाओस नाइजीरिया/ गैबान/ दक्षिण अफ्रीका/ सोमालिया/ इथियोपिया/ तंजानिया/ किनिया व अन्य देशों से प्लाइवुड व्यापारी वीनियर आयात करते हैं। और प्लाइवुड एवं मशीनरी का आयात-निर्यात होता है।

यमुनानगर-जगाधरी चेंबर आफ कामर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री के अनुसार (डीएफसीसी) डेडिकेटिड फ्रेड कोरिडोर कारपोरेशन जगाधरी वर्कशाप के पास कार्यालय बनेगा। हरियाणा यमुनानगर व अंबाला जिले में यह लाइन 60 किलोमीटर एरिया से निकल रही है। जगााधरी वर्कशाप में डीएफसीसी को स्टेशन बनाने की मांग की गई है। इस लाइन पर केवल माल गाड़ियों का टैफिक रहेगा। ईस्ट कोरिडोर की यह लाइन अमृतसर से कोलकाता तक जाएगी। यहां पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय कंटेनर डिपो या प्राइवेट फ्रेड टर्मिनल बनने से जिले के अलावा आसपास के क्षेत्र के व्यापारियों को लाभ होगा। व्यापारियों को माल कम दाम और समय में पहुंच जाएगा।
