Integration of industrial land bank system by Dec: Ministry

The India industrial land bank system has been integrated with industry based GIS systems of 17 states so far and will achieve pan-India integration by December 2021, the commerce and industry ministry said. The system is a GIS –based portal-a one stop repository of all industrial infrastructure-related information-connectivity, infra, natural resources and terrain, plot –level information on vacant plots, line of activity, and contact details, Currently, the land bank system has about 4,000 industrial parks mapped across an area of 5.5 lakh hectare of land, serving as a decision support system for investors scouting for land remotely.

वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि भारतीय औद्योग भूमि बैंक प्रणाली को अब तक 17 राज्यों के उद्योग आधारित जीआईएस सिस्टम कि साथ एकीकृत किया गया है और दिसंबर 2021 तक अखिल भारतीय एकीकरण हासिल कर लिया जाएगा। प्रणाली एक जीआईएस-आधारित पोर्टल है। सभी औद्योगिक बुनियादी ढांचे से संबंधित सूचना कनेक्टिविटी, इन्फ्रा, प्राकृतिक संसाधनों और इलाके का एक स्टाॅप रिपोजिटरी, खाली भूखंडों पर प्लाॅट-स्तर की जानकारी, गतिविधि की रेखा, और संपर्क विवरण, वर्तमान में, भूमि बैंक प्रणाली में 5.5 लाख हेक्टेयर भूमि के क्षेत्र में लगभग 4,000 औद्योगिक पार्क हैं, जो दूर से भूमि की तलाश करने वाले निवेशकों के लिए निर्णय समर्थन प्रणाली के रूप में कार्य कर रहे हैं।
