In the run-up to the universal immunization drive starting May 1, private hospitals are being told to return the un-used stock of Covid-19 vaccines to the state government by the end of this month. Many states are learnt to have already issued an advisory to hospitals on this.

The state-level advisory follows a diktat from the centre, directed all state chief secretaries that any un-utilized vaccine stock balance as on April 30 would have to be returned to the cold chain point from where they were issued. The system of supplying vaccine stokes to private Covid vaccination centers (CVCs) and collection of Rs 150 per dose will be discontinued May onwards.

If the central government allows, the state government will procure for private hospitals, which can be bought at the new price. Leading private hospital chains in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru too have got communication from state administrations about returning the unused vaccines.

Serum Institute had announced a price of Rs 400 per dose for state governments and Rs 600 per dose for private hospitals. Bharat Biotech had said it would supply state governments for Rs 600 per dose and would charge private hospitals Rs 1200 per dose.

Haryana govt. has asked all Deputy Collectors to collect oxygen Cylinders from industries to enhance the storage capacity of oxygen. That’s why all industries has been directed to surrender their oxy. Cylinders to the concerned authorities.

निजी अस्पतालों में 1 मई से टीके महंगे

उद्योगों से ऑक्सीजन सिलेंडर एकत्र करेंगे

निजी अस्पताल इस्तेमाल होने से बचे हुए कोविड-19 के टीके आगामी 30 अप्रैल तक केंद्र को लौटा देंगे। इससे पहले केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय यह संकेत दे चुका था कि 1 मई से 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के लोगों का टीकाकरण शुरू होने से पहले निजी अस्पतालों से कोविड-19 के बचे टीके वापस लिए जाएंगे।

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने सभी राज्यों के मुख्य सचिवों से कहा था कि 30 अप्रैल तक जो भी टीके बचे रह जाते हैं उन्हें उस कोल्ड चेन को वापस करना होगा जहां से टीके जारी किए गए थे। निजी कोविड टीकाकरण केंद्रों (सीवीसी) को टीकों की आपूर्ति करने और उनसे प्रति खुराक 150 रुपये वसूलने की व्यवस्था 1 मई से समाप्त हो जाएगी।

इसी बीच मंबई, दिल्ली और बेंगलरु आदि शहरों की प्रमुख निजी अस्पताल श्रंखलाओं ने संकेत दिया है कि राज्य प्रशासन की ओर से उन्हें अनौपचारिक रूप से ऐसा किए जाने की जानकारी दी चुकी है। राज्य सरकारों ने निजी अस्पतालों को आश्वस्त किया है कि वह मई में टीकाकरण के लिए खुराक उपलब्ध कराने में मदद करेगा।

हरियाणा सरकार ने प्रदेश के सभी डीसी को अपने क्षेत्रों में सभी उद्योगों से आक्सीजन सिलेंडर एकत्र करने का आदेश दिया है। ताकि ऑक्सीजन का भंडारण किया जा सके।

तत्पश्चात सभी उद्योगों को अपने ऑक्सीजन सीलेंडर संबंधित अधिकारियों को सौंपने का आदेश दिया गया है।
