Punjab will become the most preferred investment destination

Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal expressed confidence that the state is on the path of development and that the foundation of development laid by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in the last two and a half years will further accelerate the development of the state.

He said that Punjab would soon emerge as one of the most preferred investment destinations. This will develop the state and will also bring positive changes in the lives of local citizens.

Talking with a group of entrepreneurs originally from Punjab, the state Finance Minister said that comprehensive measures have been taken to promote traditional as well as IT and other IT related sectors in Punjab. He informed that since March 2017, investment of 50,000 crore has come in the state due to investor friendly policy.

Appreciating the government’s effort to promote business ease in the state, the delegation hoped that it would help attract new investment in Punjab.

Vini Mahajan of ACS Investment Promotion said that this is the right time to do industrialization on a large scale in Punjab. Traditional agricultural business is already flourishing in the state. He said that along with increasing entrepreneurship among the youth of the state, efforts are being made for industrial development.

In the presentation, Invest Punjab Chief Executive Rajat Aggarwal shared various facts about manufacturing to high-tech industries in the state. He counted the achievements of Invest Punjab and said that the concessions and incentives being given by the state government are helping to attract state investors.

पंजाब के वित्त मंत्री मनप्रीत सिंह बादल ने भरोसा जताया कि राज्य विकास की राह पर है और मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह ने पिछले ढाइ साल में विकास की जो नींव रखी है, उससे राज्य के विकास में आगे और तेजी आएगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि पंजाब जल्द ही सबसे पंसदीदा निवेश गंतव्यों में से एक बनकर उभरेगा। इससे राज्य का विकास होगा और स्थानीय नागरिकों के जीवन में भी सकारात्मक बदलाव आएंगे।

मूल रूप से पंजाब से जुड़े उद्यमियों के एक समूह के साथ बातचीत में राज्य के वित्त मंत्री ने कहा कि पंजाब में पारंपरिक के साथ ही साथ आईटी एवं आईटी से जुड़े अन्य क्षेत्रों को बढ़ावा देने के व्यापक उपाय किए गए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि निवेशकों के अनुकूल नीति से मार्च 2017 के बाद से राज्य में 50,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश आ चुका है।
राज्य में कारोबारी सुगमता को बढ़ावा देने के सरकार के प्रयास की सराहना करते हुए शिष्टमंडल ने उम्मीद जताई कि इससे पंजाब में नए निवेश को आकर्षित करने में मदद मिलेगी।

एसीएस इन्वेस्टमेंट प्रमोशन की विनी महाजन ने कहा कि पंजाब में बड़े पैमाने पर औद्योगीकरण करने का यह सही समय है। राज्य में पारंपरिक कृषि कारोबार पहले से ही फलफूल रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य के युवाओं में उद्यमशीलता बढ़ाने के साथ ही औद्योगिक विकास के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।

प्रस्तुतीकरण में इन्वेस्ट पंजाब के मुख्य कार्याधिकारी रजत अग्रवाल ने राज्य में विनिर्माण से लेकर उच्च तकनीक वाले उद्योगों के बारे में विभिन्न तथ्य साझा किए। उन्होंने इन्वेस्ट पंजाब की उपलब्धियों को गिनाते हुए कहा कि राज्य सरकार की ओर से दी जा रही रियायतों एवं प्रोत्साहनों से राज्य निवेशकों को आकर्षित करने में मदद मिल रही है।
