No matter how expensive the wood has become today, but no industry has closed due to shortage of wood, this is the bright side. Due to the increased expenditure of the government, the plywood industry is now eager to come out of the recession. I believe that the coming four-five years are going to be very good for the industry.

PPMA has just taken a decision of 5 percent rate hike in its all types of goods besides taking an important decision that the dealers who are not repaying the credit should be banned collectively. The President of the Association, Shri Inderjit Sohal and all the members unanimously agreed on this decision and decided to cooperate amongst themselves.

आज के दिन लकड़ी चाहे कितनी भी महंगी हो गई हो, लेकिन कोई भी उद्योग लकड़ी की कमी की वजह से बंद नहीं हुई, यह सबसे उज्जवल पक्ष है। सरकार के बढ़े हुए खर्च के असर से प्लाइवुड उद्योग अब मंदी से बाहर निकलने को उत्सुक है। मेरा मानना है कि आने वाले चार-पांच साल उद्योग के लिए काफी बेहतरीन रहने वाले हैं।

PPMA ने अभी अपने सभी तरह के माल में 5 प्रतिशत रेट बढ़ोतरी का फैसल लेने के अलावा एक महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लिया है कि उधार न चुकाने वाले डीलरों को सामुहिक तौर पर प्रतिबंध लगाया जाए। एसोसिएशन के प्रधान श्री इंद्रजीत सोहल एवं सभी सदस्यों ने इस फैसले पर एकमत से सहमत होते हुए आपस में सहयोग करने का निर्णय लिया।
