Inspection of land for the Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Yamunanagar

In Yamunanagar, the government has taken another step forward for the establishment of the Inland Container Depot (ICD) with the efforts of Devendra Chawla, a member of the BJP State Executive Committee. Devendra Chawla, along with the District Revenue Officer Yamunanagar, Tehsildar, and their team, and the Deputy Director of Industry, conducted an inspection of the land near the Kalanor, Mandebri, and Golnapur railway lines in Yamunanagar.

Once the identification of the land is complete, the Managing Director of Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, will also assess the land.

Devendra Chawla mentioned that the industrialists in Yamunanagar are eager to see the Inland Container Depot completed as soon as possible.

According to Devendra Chawla, Yamunanagar and Jagadhri are known as twin industrial cities. An Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor is being developed here, and a significant portion of the work has already been completed. The final phase involves laying the railway lines. Meanwhile, in Rewari, work is underway on the Western Freight Corridor, where the Inland Container Depot has already been established. Currently, the businessmen in Yamunanagar rely on the Inland Container Depot on the Western Freight Corridor in Rewari to send their goods to other states and ports.

With the establishment of the Inland Container Depot on the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor in Yamunanagar, 90% of goods can be easily dispatched to Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bengal, and other states via railways, reducing costs by up to 25% and saving time.

It was Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s proposal to establish the Inland Container Depot on the Inland Freight Corridor in Yamunanagar. Providing the land for the Container Depot and its construction is the responsibility of the state government. The officials involved in the Freight Corridor project state that as soon as the railway line’s construction is completed, the Container Depot will also be operational.
The Eastern Freight Corridor will pass through Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, and it is considered an economic booster for these states. Trains on this corridor run continuously, to continuous running of all level crossings on the line will be eliminated. Under and overbridges will be constructed at every level crossings.

यमुनानगर में इनलैंड कंटेनर डिपो के लिए जमीन का निरीक्षण

यमुनानगर में इनलैंड कंटेनर डिपो (प्ब्क्) के लिए सरकार ने एक कदम और आगे बढ़ाया भाजपा प्रदेश कार्यसमिति सदस्य देवेंद्र चावला के प्रयास से अब जमीन के निरीक्षण का काम शुरू हो गया है। देवेंद्र चावला के साथ जिला राजस्व अधिकारी यमुनानगर तहसीलदार और उनकी टीम और डिप्टी डायरेक्टर इंडस्ट्री ने मिल कर यमुनानगर में कलानोर, मंडेबरी व गोलनपुर रेलवे लाइन के साथ लगती जमीन का निरीक्षण किया।

जैसे ही जमीन की पहचान का काम पूरा हो जाएगा तो हरियाणा स्टेट इंडस्ट्रियल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलपमेंट कारपोरेशन के महाप्रबंधक भी जमीन का जायजा लेंगे।
देवेंद्र चावला ने बताया कि यमुनानगर के प्लाइवुड उद्योगपति चाहते हैं कि इनलैंड कंटेनर डिपो का काम जल्दी से जल्दी पूरा हो।

देवेंद्र चावला ने बताया कि यमुनानगर और जगाधरी ट्विन इंडस्ट्रियल शहर से जाना जाता है। यहां से रेलवे का ईस्टर्न डेडिकेटेड फ्रेट कॉरिडोर बन रहा है। जिसका काम काफी हद तक पूरा हो चुका है। रेलवे लाइन डालने का काम अंतिम चरण में है। वहीं वेस्टर्न फ्रेट कॉरिडोर पर रेवाड़ी में काम चल रहा है। वहां इनलैंड कंटेनर डिपो बन चुका है। यमुनानगर के व्यापारी अभी दूसरे प्रदेश या बंदरगाह पर माल भेजने के लिए रेवाड़ी में वेस्टर्न फ्रेट कॉरिडोर पर शुरू हुए इनलैंड कंटेनर डिपो का सहारा ले रहे हैं।

यमुनानगर में ईस्टर्न डेडिकेटेड फ्रेट कॉरिडोर पर इनलैंड कंटेनर डिपो बनने से 90 प्रतिशत माल रेलवे के माध्यम से गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र, बंगाल समेत अन्य राज्यों में आसानी से भेजा जा सकेगा। जिससे 25 प्रतिशत तक खर्च कम हो जाएगा, इसके साथ ही समय की बचत होगी, वह अलग।

यमुनानगर में ही इनलैंड फ्रेट कॉरिडोर पर कंटेनर डिपो बने, इसके लिए सीएम मनोहर लाल ने केंद्र के सामने प्रस्ताव रखा था। कंटेनर डिपो के लिए जमीन उपलब्ध कराना, निर्माण कराना। निर्माण पूरा होने के बाद एजेंसी को देना प्रदेश सरकार का काम है। फ्रेट कॉरिडोर में लगे अधिकारियों का कहना है कि जैसे ही रेलवे लाइन का काम पूरा होगा, वैसे ही कंटेनर डिपो भी शुरू हो जाएगा।

ईस्टर्न फ्रेट कॉरिडोर पंजाब, हरियाणा, यूपी, बिहार, झारखंड व पश्चिम बंगाल से होकर गुजरेगा। यह कॉरिडोर इन राज्यों के लिए इकॉनॉमी बूस्टर लाने की लाइन मानी जा रही है। फ्रेट कॉरिडोर की लाइन पर मालगाड़ियां निरंतर चल सकें, इसलिए लाइन पर कोई लेवल क्रॉसिंग नहीं होगी। जहां-जहां पर फाटक थे, वहां अंडर और ओवरब्रिज बनाए जाएगें।
