Indian Laminate Manufacturer’s Association (ILMA) successfully completed its23 years since its inception in 1999. With hardly a few members till 2007, ILMA now boasts of 170+ members under its umbrella including big giants like Century Plywood, Merino Industries, Greenlam, etc.

After hosting a series of 6 successful conferences, they now conducted their 7thAnnual International Conference on Laminates at the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. It was a 2-day residential conference held at The Den Hotel, Whitefield, Bangalore on the 31st May-1st June 2022. The Conference finally took place after a gap of 4 years due to the pandemic.

The conference saw participants coming in from all corners of the country. Not only India, but delegates from the US, Germany, Italy and many other countries also made their way presence felt at the conference. There was a total of 170+ Indian participants and 20+ International participants making it India’s largest gathering on Laminates.

A lot of sponsorships were seen from big players like Thermax, Fakirsons, Mitsubishi Chemicals, Matchwell Décor, Alstrrom Munksjo, Hueck Decent, Master Handlers, Wiz Chemicals, H.R Industries, Wolves Creata, Star Papers, Deepak Phenolics, Shah International and Westrock. All these companies gave presentations and exchanged ideas as to how to bring about a positive change in the laminate industry through their products/services.

The conference helped members with extensive networking, look beyond the domestic market, improvise on technologies to reduce cost and discussed ways on how as an industry they can work together to bring India on a global map.

ILMA, through its conference, takes this initiative to bring the entire laminate industry, from India and across the globe, under one roof to network, share ideas, create new ideas and work on topics that are of mutual concern within the industry.
