QCO Extended for Plywood and Wooden Flush Door

Plywood and wooden flush door (Quality Control) order, 2023 has been extended till 28 February 2025.

An extra ordinary Gazette notification no. 1311 dated 15 march 2024 issued by DPIIT (Ministry Commerce of and Industry) says, that the standards mentioned below, will have to be mandatorily BIS marked from the said date.

However, Small Enterprises will have to comply from 28 may 2025, where as micro enterprise will have to comply from 28 august 2025.

  • IS2202 (Part 1):1999-Wooden flush door shutters 
  • IS710:2010-Marine plywood
  • IS5509:2021- Fire retardant plywood
  • IS1328:1996- Veneered decorative plywood
  • IS2191 (Part 2):2022-Wooden flush door shutters 
  • IS2191 (Part 1):2022-Wooden flush door shutters 
  • IS2202(Part 2): 2022-Wooden Flush Door Shutters 
  • IS4990: 2011-Plywood for concrete shuttering 
  • IS10701: 2012-Structural plywood
