5% rate increase by PPMA

Punjab plywood manufacturers Association has decided to increase rates of all types of plywood products @ 5% from 25th April 2024.

Inderjeet Singh Sohel , president PPMA, told Plyinsight , “cost of raw material, specially popular and eucalyptus timber & labuor has been increased manifold , which has shoot up the cost of production. We were trying till now, to absorb the increase at our end,  and not to disturb  our marketing channel . But to our dismay,there is no sign of price correction in raw material in near future.

Hence ,we have decided to pass on ,a small part of the increased cost to the market”.

“We request all our dealer to please cooperate with us.

We also request our every respected dealers, to release our payments timely, for smooth functioning of the factory”, he added.
