Generally, it is not understood at all that, rules and laws are made only for our convenience. But we see rules as obstacles.
Some behaviours are very common in our public life. Such as breaking the signal, parking at wrong place, trying to work done illegally instead of getting the work as per rules, trying to justify arriving late in the name of Indian standard time.
There are historical, social and pshychological reasons for this trend. During the slavery of centuries and thereafter in the Indian rulings, we have seen that no law applies to influencers. Saving the punishment even after breaking the rules incites a push for disobedience.
Generally, it is not understood at all that, rules and laws are made only for our convenience. But we see rules as obstacles. We wish that no rules and regulations should be imposed on us. Neither in society nor in our Business.
Is not it surprising that we follow every rules in foreign land. Where rules are Stringent and punishment is heavier.
Current government has invested heavily in infrastructure, as well as, trying to ease out the old laws and regulations. Our life style and business structure is deeply affected due to these changes. Which is making us uncomfortable.
- India was dependent for centuries.
- Today, we are proud that we are self-reliant.
- Should we not proceed on the path of becoming competitive?
The price will have to be paid for transforming from “Developing India” to “Developed India”.
