WPPT – A High-End Skill Development Program for Carpenters’ Children

This year also marked a milestone with the launch of WPPT – Wood Panel Processing Techniques, a skilling initiative developed in association with MSME. Designed as a three-month course, WPPT equips the children of carpenters with knowledge of modern methods, tools, and technologies in furniture-making.

The program, fully sponsored by Action TESA, is open to 30 carefully selected candidates in each batch. What makes WPPT truly life-changing is not just the skills imparted, but the opportunities it unlocks. Every student from the very first batch received a job offer on the day of convocation itself.
