Five day training camp FRI Dehradun in collaboration with Gujarat Plywood Manufacturers Association

To promote new technology in plywood and make industrialists aware about BIS, five-day training camp for 42 members of Gujarat Plywood Manufacturing Association was organized at FRI Dehradun.

Discussing about the program, WTA President Subhash Jolly said that the participants who attended the training camp were informed about the new technology of plywood. Beside it, what changes are happening in this industry in the future. How raw materials are used in a better way while cutting costs, were shared.

FRI scientist Dr. DP Khali said that such programs are organized at regular intervals by the institute. It is our endeavor to connect every wood related industrialist including plywood manufacturers, saw mill operators across the country as well as every person associated with this industry with technology. Keeping this in mind, such programs are organized.

Manoj Gwari of WTA told in the program that this is a very good opportunity; He said that there is better possibilities of plywood in Gujarat. Because of nearby port. He also said that I believe that Gujarat will perform better in the plywood sector in the near future.

Ketan Kesarani, Plywood manufacturer who was leading the delegation for training, said that he has learned the intricacies of plywood here. He also got information about major areas of attention for designing and R&D. Certainly this type of program has been very beneficial for them.

Jitendra Shah, Hemant Patel and Pankaj Patel, who were participating in the training camp, said that they got to learn new information here. Such programs should be organized at regular intervals.

At the end of the program, Subhash Jolly said that a new start has been made by the Gujarat Association, now the plywood associations of other state should also start similar programs.
