WTA Highlighted modern techniques in Wood & Bamboo in North East Wood Expo

The North East Wood Expo 2025 was held at the Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati from November 7th to 9th. As usual, the Wood Technologists Association officials participated as a support partner at this Wood Expo. Under the guidance of the current president, Mr. Gajendra Singh Rajput, along with founder President and Patron Subhash Jolly the association’s secretaries, Mr. Kishore Kumar Sharma, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, and Dr. Sandeep, participated on various topics of wood industry.

Like every year, the association’s objective this year was to aware the public and industry members about modern wood innovations, provide solutions to problems, and encourage people in the Northeast to pursue agro-plantations, modern bamboo production techniques, and wood-related industries.

The crowd gathered at the Wood Technologists Association’s stall during the expo indicated that the Northeast is soon poised to write a new chapter in the national agro-forestry and wood industry. People were particularly eager to learn about wood and Bamboo related topics. Officials provided information and highlighted bamboo’s latest farming techniques, modern equipment, and emerging markets.

Overall, the Wood Expo was a great step toward sharing information and understanding and solving trade-related problems.
